When arriving through the doors, the customer notices that the restaurant gives off a certain vibe. It wasn't super decorated with decorations from each place, but there are subtle things, such as statues, and small details that paid tribute to these places.
When I walked in during a recent dining experience, I could see families all over the place and people of all ages, along with a sign telling me to wait to be seated. I didn't have to wait more than 30 seconds before someone with a friendly face came over and offered to seat me. The waiters were all dressed in black and white and each person found their own way to distinguish themselves in their work attire with their jewelry or a certain headband.
Soon after I was seated, a young woman with a beautiful smile walked over and asked what I would like to drink, I ordered hot tea. They came out about a minute later with my tea, which was very hot. Then the service went downhill a little bit, because I had to wait probably about 15 minutes or more to order my food after I had already figured out what I would have liked to order.
Once they finally came and took my order, it was about another 45 minutes before I received my food. They did not appear to be in a hurry, but did offer to refill my tea when I ran out, along with bringing me some egg flower soup, but they had spilt some down the side of the bowl.
As I sat sipping my tea, I observed a little mix up with the food of the table next to me, she gave him the wrong food and he was allergic to it but luckily he noticed but the waitress handled it very well and just offered to fix her mistake along with an apology. When my food arrived, it was the perfect temperature. My plate was well organized with Lo Mein and Generals Chicken with an extra side of the sauce they put on the chicken. The food was cooked very well and had tremendous flavor. The service did began to improve once I got my food, and they were constantly checking to make sure I didn't need anything and that it tasted alright.
As I finished my food, the waitress came and asked if I would like any dessert or anything else and if she could take my plate because I had been hungry and had eaten all of my delectable food. She swiftly cleared my dishes and brought back my check. When I received it, I was very pleasantly surprised that this great food did not cost me an arm and a leg. It is very fairly priced and they give you just the right amount of food. The menu was very organized between the four different types of food and the staff was very helpful when it came to making a decision about food.
Golden Crown Asian Fusion is a great family friendly restaurant that has great food. I would overall rate this trip to this restaurant a 4 stars.
